Access Communication: How to forward my calls to my Simplefly.ai Agent?
Learn how to set up and manage Call Forwarding on your Access Communication mobile device. This step-by-step guide covers all forwarding types (unconditional, busy, no reply, and unreachable) along with the codes you need to activate, deactivate, and cancel each setting.
Use Call Forwarding
The following steps explain how to use the Call Forwarding feature on your mobile device, from Access Communication.
Important Notes:
Conditional forwarding will not work when voicemail is activated.
Always use the full 10 digit number
Forwarded calls are not re-routed back to voicemail if unanswered
When forwarding to a local number, do not dial 1 before the area code
When forwarding to a long distance number, dial 1 plus area code
Long distance charges apply to the subscriber, not the caller
Business systems may have additional configuration options through an admin portal
Change Settings
To change the existing or the active number of Call Forwarding:
Cancel the existing Call Forwarding.
Reactivate Call Forwarding with a new phone number.
Call Forwarding Overview
Access offers three types of call forwarding:
Unconditional Call Forwarding
Call Forward Busy
Call Forward Delayed, No Answer
Call Forward Unconditional
Activate: *72
Lift the receiver
Dial: *72
Wait for three short tones
Dial the 10 digit forwarding number
If the call is answered, keep the line open for at least five seconds, then hang up
If the number is busy or not answered, hang up, lift the receiver again, dial *72, re-enter the number
Listen for two short tones and hang up
Deactivate: *73
Lift the receiver
Dial: *73
Wait for three short tones
Hang up
Call Forward Busy
This forwards calls only when your line is busy.
Activate: *90
Lift the receiver
Dial: *90
Wait for three short tones
Dial the 10 digit forwarding number
If answered, keep the line open for at least five seconds, then hang up
If busy or not answered, repeat the steps until you hear two short tones
Example: 13065551234
Deactivate: *91
Lift the receiver
Dial: *91
Wait for three short tones
Hang up
Call Forward Delayed
Activate: *92
Deactivate: *93
This forwards calls after approximately four rings.
Activate: *92
Lift the receiver
Dial: *92
Wait for three short tones
Dial the 10 digit forwarding number
If answered, keep the line open for at least five seconds, then hang up
If busy or not answered, repeat the steps until you hear two short tones
Example: 13065551234
Deactivate: *93
Lift the receiver
Dial: *93
Wait for three short tones
Hang up
