Bell Telephony: How to forward my calls to my Simplefly.ai Agent?
Learn how to set up and manage Call Forwarding on your Bell mobile device. This step-by-step guide covers all forwarding types available along with how to codes you need to activate, deactivate, and cancel each setting.
Use Call Forwarding
The following steps explain how to use the Call Forwarding feature on your mobile device, from Bell.
Important Notes:
Conditional forwarding will not work when voicemail is activated.
Always use the full 10 digit number
You can also manage forwarding inside the MyRogers app or online portal
Change Settings
To change the existing or the active number of Call Forwarding:
Cancel the existing Call Forwarding.
Reactivate Call Forwarding with a new phone number.
Call Forwarding on Mobile Phone
Turning On
Follow these steps to enable Call Forwarding on the Bell Mobility network.
Go to the Call Settings menu from the main menu of your phone. Select Call Forwarding.
Select the type of call you’d like to forward. For example, you can forward all voice calls or only calls that you don't answer.
Follow the prompts to activate including entering the forwarding destination number. Remember that if this is a long distance call, you'll be billed the long distance fees.
Once Call Forwarding is activated, you'll receive a free text message on your phone to confirm that the activation is complete.
Turning Off
Follow these steps to disable Call Forwarding on the Bell Mobility network.
Go to the Call Settings menu from the main menu of your phone. Select Call Forwarding.
Select the Call Forwarding type you'd like to deactivate.
Follow the prompts to deactivate.
If you have activated Call Forwarding and want to restore your voicemail, select Deactivate All from the deactivation menu.
Checking the Status
Scroll to and select Settings.
Select the search field at the top of the screen and type “Call forwarding”. Select Call Forwarding from the list.
Select Call Forwarding again if prompted.
Confirm if Call Forwarding is set up.
Call Forwarding on Home Phone
Turning On
Dial *72 (or 1172 on rotary phones).
Listen for three beeps followed by dial tone.
Dial the phone number to which your calls are to be forwarded.
If there's an answer at the number you are forwarding to: Make sure you keep the line open for at least 5 seconds to activate the service.
If there is no answer or if you get a busy signal: Wait for 3 seconds, hang up and then repeat steps 1 to 4, one more time, to activate the service.
If you’re using a Home Hub 3000 modem for phone service:
Dial *72.
When prompted, enter the destination phone number (the number to forward your calls to) followed by the # key.
Listen for the message confirming that Call Forwarding has been activated.
Turning Off
Dial *73 (or 1173 on rotary phones).
Listen for two beeps.
Hang up.
If you’re using a Home Hub 3000 modem for phone service:
Dial *73.
Listen for the message confirming that Call Forwarding has been deactivated.
